Cookie policy
Version: 1.0 for review
Date of preparation and research: 11 October 2026.
Purpose: Site text after review and approval
1. Scope
This policy applies to storing information on your device and accessing that information when using mensch.rs. It covers cookies, local storage, and other technologies with a comparable function. Pixels and similar mechanisms are described when they process data or participate in tracking, regardless of the technology name.
Site operator and responsible legal entity: Mensch doo. Contact: hi@mensch.rs. Processing of data that can be linked to you is further governed by the Privacy policy.
2. Consent rule
Under Article 160 of the Law on electronic communications, relevant storage or access to data on a device requires consent after clear notice, with the possibility to refuse. The exception applies to technical storage or access solely for the purpose of transmitting communication or providing a service explicitly requested by the user. In line with that rule, non-essential technologies are activated only after your choice. Merely continuing to browse, scrolling the page, or closing the notice does not constitute a confirmatory choice. Non-essential categories must not be pre-enabled. The label "functional", "security", or "anonymous" is not sufficient for an exemption from consent. The decisive factor is the actual function. Subsequent anonymisation of statistics alone does not remove the requirement that exists at the moment of device access.
3. Categories
| Category | Meaning | Regime | | Essential technologies | Those without which an explicitly requested function or transmission of communication cannot be performed | Without consent only within the limits of the statutory exception | | Choices and personalisation | Remembering user choices that are not essential for the requested function | Consent when not covered by the exception | | Analytics | Measuring visits, paths, and usage events | Prior consent for technologies outside the exception | | Advertising | Conversion tracking, linking visits and advertising audiences | Separate prior consent | | Third-party content | Embedded video, map, or other content that sends data to an external provider | Assessment of the actual flow; blocking until appropriate choice when consent is required | This table explains categories. It is not proof that each of them is used on the site.
4. Actual technology register
For each technology the following must be published in a readable table: | Name or key | Provider and domain | Purpose | Data | Category and basis for activation | Duration on device | Recipients and country | Cookie duration on the device differs from retention of data at the recipient. If the provider keeps data longer, that period or a defined criterion is also stated, with a link to the relevant notice.
5. How you choose and change settings
Settings are opened via: [Podešavanja kolačića](#cookie-settings). The user interface enables accepting all non-essential categories, refusing all non-essential categories, and individual choice. Refusal must be available without unjustified additional obstacles.
Your choice applies to the specific browser and device. Deleting a saved choice, another browser, or another device may require a new choice. Period for remembering the choice: 12 meseci. Choice is requested again when required due to change of purpose, technologies, or other material conditions.
You may withdraw consent in the same settings centre. Withdrawal stops future processing that depends on that consent and does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. If a separate request is needed to delete previously collected data, use the privacy contact.
Browser settings can additionally limit or delete cookies. That is a supplementary option, not a substitute for the choice the site itself must enable. Deleting data from the browser does not necessarily mean data already sent to a recipient is deleted.
6. Third-party content and independent sites
If specific embedded content is blocked until consent, the user is told which external provider receives data and why. An ordinary link to another site differs from automatic loading of its content. Going to another site subjects the user to its rules, but does not release the operator from responsibility for sending data before leaving.
7. Consequences of refusal and contact
Refusing non-essential technologies must not be presented as waiving fundamental rights. An individual voluntary function may be unavailable if it depends on refused technology; the user is told that before choosing.
For questions about a saved choice, recipients, or exercising rights, write to hi@mensch.rs. Date of last technical inventory and scope of scanning: 11. oktobar 2026.. Register changes must follow actual changes on the site.
